ALIAS is an engaging word game designed to be played in teams. In this game, players must effectively communicate words using synonyms, opposites, or clever clues in order to help their teammates guess as many words as possible within a limited timeframe. Each successful guess allows the team to advance on the game board, with the ultimate goal of being the first team to reach the "Finish" space and claim victory.

Game Rules:

• Alias is played in teams. The objective is to guess as many words as possible within a specified time limit.
• The players are divided into two groups of equal size. One player from each group takes turns using a pre-activated "Alias" app on a designated device to explain a group of words from a card.
• The following rules apply during gameplay:
  • Translations or words sharing the same root are not allowed.
  • If team members guess the root of a word, it can be explained using a different approach.
  • To score a point, the articulated word must match the spelling on the card exactly.
  • Words can be explained in any order, without maintaining their sequence on the card.
  • If the opposing team predicts a word, it can still be accepted as a correct answer.
• If the correct word is guessed, the player should tap on it to score a point.
• If a word was incorrectly explained or violated any rules, it should be unselected.
• If a player mistakenly clicks on a word that was not predicted, they can deselect it by pressing it again.
• In case of an appeal during gameplay, corrections can be made by pressing the score button on the scoring page.
• If a team successfully guesses all the words on a card and there is still remaining time, a new card will be automatically generated, allowing the players to continue explaining new words.
• If, for any reason, there is at least one word left unguessed on a card, the user can press the "back" button and pass the device to players from the other team. The scoring page will automatically calculate the accumulated scores from all rounds. The winning team is determined by reaching the pre-configured required total points set in the game's settings.
